Leading Economic Transformation
Our local economies are undergoing major shifts. This cohort program is designed for county leaders with an interest in enhancing their knowledge, skills, and networks to navigate economic development through uncertain times.
County administrators, commissioners, economic development authority board members, and economic development staff participating will benefit from the cohort by:
- Enhancing skills to navigate change through uncertain times.
- Building a network of peers for ongoing support.
- Strengthening confidence and ability to address unknown or uncomfortable issues.
- Defining your role as a local government leader for initiating economic transformation efforts.
The group will meet five times in November 2021
Session 0: Welcome and Launch (November 8, 8:30-9:30 a.m.)
Session 1: Exploring Economic Transformation (November 10, 8:30-10:00 a.m.)
Session 2: Building Adaptive Capacity (November 15, 8:30-10:00 a.m.)
Session 3: Examining Mindset (November 17, 8:30-10:00 a.m.)
Session 4: Creating a Common Agenda (November 22, 8:30-10:00 a.m.)
