CONNECT MINNESOTA: Statewide Conversations among Minnesota County Commissioners

braverangels amc_logoPMS269

connectThe Association of Minnesota Counties is honored to announce a new opportunity to partner with Braver Angels. We are fortunate to have one of the co-founders of this national nonprofit dedicated to “depolarizing America,” here in our state: Bill Doherty, Professor at the University of Minnesota.

Beginning in September 2020, we are working together to connect county commissioners for conversations across Minnesota.

“I thoroughly enjoyed my recent Braver Angels conversation with a fellow Commissioner from Southern Minnesota.  Two hours was too short a time, but I believe we forged a deeper bond as a result of the visit, and created a greater understanding of the many similarities and few differences between our two counties and parts of Minnesota.  I strongly recommend this program to all my AMC friends.”

--Roseau County Commissioner Jack Swanson
