    The Shared Solutions Addiction Summit is a gathering of key strategic leaders and supporting organizations that recognize our ability to fully address the current National Opioid Epidemic will not be accomplished by any one plan, policy, organization or profession.  Instead, our solutions will be accomplished over time, through shared approaches that focuses on addiction/substance use disorder (SUD) as a chronic health condition, best treated across the full continuum of care, through collaboration with our health systems, coordination between clinical care teams, with support from peers and other community partners.  This Summit is designed to be a starting point to a coordinated state-wide prevention-intervention-treatment-recovery education campaign that provides essential training to both professionals and the public at large.

  • Bike+Walk Minnesota Conference
    April 29 – May 1, 2018

    The Bike+Walk Minnesota Conference is geared toward everyone interested in supporting and promoting biking and walking in Minnesota. We want you at the table if your background comes from parks and recreation, public health, tourism, transportation planning, politics, or advocacy.
    It will be a multidisciplinary conversation about the intersection of active transportation, community development, inequities, and advocacy. Professionals and advocates from across Minnesota will come together and go beyond breakout sessions to explore connections between biking and walking, discuss how communities are creating better public spaces for all users, and address the open-ended question of what comes next for transportation and recreation options in the North Star State.
    What to expect: Two full days of professional programming, breakout sessions, keynotes, and mobile workshops. Additionally, there will be opportunities for networking and informal collaboration on Sunday afternoon, Sunday evening, and Monday evening.

    Saint Paul Police Department / Professional Development Institute and Grant Writing USA will present a two-day grant management workshop in Saint Paul, April 23-24, 2018.  This training is recommended for grant recipient organizations across all disciplines.  In this class you'll learn how to administer government grants and stay in compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
